We will visit Kronborg, the castle and fortress in Elsinore; the English name for Helsingør, which is 50 km north of Copenhagen. The castle is one of Northern Europe's most important Renaissance castles and was included in UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2000 and is where Shakespeare's play Hamlet takes place.
After some Danish "hygge", we will enjoy a lunch together before returning to the center of Copenhagen. Here we will have a boat trip in the canals, to experience the history and architecture of the old Copenhagen from the seaside.
